The guys from V Exclusive were in an island of Maldives called Addu, on a brisk, sunny day in February, looking for an idea of starting a website. Through out the day, they saw a historical item from Maldives called Guduguda.

GUDUGUDA is the Dhivehi (the local Maldivian language) noun for a special shisha water pipe, and also describes the activity of relaxing and conversing while enjoying it. We discussed on the idea to why people smoke and how this can be connected to our history.

We tried to taste a guduguda, but unfortunately, we were unable to get one and had to return to the Male’. We pondered on the idea to how guduguda is related to the current smoking situation in Maldives. This is somehow relative and understandable.
